Oman set to sign deal for new desalination capacity

Oman's government-owned electricity and desalination company, Oman Power & Water Procurement Company (OPWP), was poised this week to sign agreements with Spanish-Omani joint venture, Myah Gulf Oman Desalination Company to develop a 250,000 m³/day Independent Water Project (IWP) in Sohar.
